About me

Addassa Follett - Founder of Harmony of London Music

Born and raised in London, I discovered from an early age that music is my passion. During my early years I was introduced to the Guitar and Keys before finally choosing what was to be my primary instrument, my voice! Trained in the contemporary arts, singing has always been a keen interest. At aged 12, I started vocal training, singing along to all of my favourite songs and even setting up bands throughout my school and college years. Throughout my career I have blended my contemporary training with the world of classical music and in recents years have had the pleasure of working with the BBC. As an active member of the BBC Proms Youth Choir, I have performed in prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall as well as featuring on BBC Radio 3.

While studying for my degree at The Academy of Contemporary Music, I discovered my interests in teaching. Therefore, I set my goals on creating Harmony of London Music in order to share my love for singing and to educate the next generation of singers. Dedicated to music education, I have a unique and fun way of teaching with my passion for music theory staying at the centre of lessons.
